Links for Objects

When a website visitor clicks on a link, the browser changes to another page or executes an action. A supplemental feature of StudioLine provides a series of generated links (for example, Home or Next Page). The actual address of such links are automatically created by StudioLine once the project is published.

To create a link, select your object and go to Link under the Edit menu, or right-click on the selected object and go to Link in the context menu. A window will open which will allow you to choose what type of link you want to create, and to initiate those links.

Creates a link to another StudioLine page.

Use the Browse button to find the desired project or page. Then click 'ok'. Use the button Create Page for Link if the desired page hasn't been created yet. A new page will be created with the desired link embedded. If the page is taken offline, the link will be treated as if 'No Link' had been chosen.

Creates a link to an outside page, other project or to other resources.
